Hi everyone;
I use Lightroom to catalogue and manage all my photographs, yet I like some of the functionality of iPhoto '08 (mainly all the printing options). Does anyone know if the sorting functions for iPhoto mess with the metadata that Lightroom uses? All the best and have a good weekend! - Dan |

As far as I know, iPhoto uses Spotlight-technology for it's metadata. Lightroom doesn't.
But I'm sure iPhoto won't keep track of your images when you don't use the iPhoto-interface to manage the pictures. Either one of the programs will get confused. |

I think all adobe imaging programs embed a color profile in the metadata at the time you save the image. This color profile is usually imported straight into iphoto but when you start editing images in iphoto the profile is obviously modified. Hope to be useful.
