Great robiuk 2008-02-12 10:45

An interesting motif, Brian.
Smoke rising up from the cart and spreading up and around
looks great. And there that guy carrying boxes - we can
feel their weight on his back, then them workers behind
The only minor thing that bothers me here is the amount
of 'dead' space dedicated to the bottom of your photo,
where we can see a shadow, but not the owner of it.
I made a workshop to show how I would do it...
Thanks for sharing,

Yes - sometimes you look at one of your photos too long and you can't go any further with it.
Then a pair of fresh eyes come along and improve it with a simple crop.
A vast improvement - many thanks!

Thank you, Brian!
I was only playing and don't really think I've improved your shot much - as I do like that empty space in front (that I cropped off). I could've as well just work on clonning out that shadow on the left...
I too many times leave my shots open to later improvements - as you say, "sometimes you look at one of your photos too long", which IS true!
