Hi
am after a new zoom lens for my camera Canon eos Digital Rebel, have a 75-300mm, have found on my latest trip to South Africa, for some subjects I would like to get a closer shot. Anybdoy use a Sigma f6-6.3 170-500, or Sigma f4-6.3 50-500 any comments would be appreciated. |

Hi Alan,
Never tried any of them, but the 50/500 seems to have better critics than the other. (You can try www.fredmiranda.com). As can option (and since you already have a 2X TC) you could think of the Canon 300 f4L IS. The IQ is superb, even with a TC (I normally use with a 1.4X). Regards, Carlos |
