The detail in this photo and the POV are pretty nice, but you are missing some basics here, the main one being that you should always look out for the old crooked picture. This image is pretty heavily tilting to the left and that ruins the overall experience for most people. Also your sky is a bit grainy - I would recommend using a lower ISO setting or a better post processing tool if that's what caused it. Also if you have the money you can download the Noise Ninja plugin for Photoshop, it rocks at removing grain. Hope this helps you in your future photographic endeavours!

Thank you for your comments, I will rework the raw image. In fact I only work with open source programs, so I'll try to find something in GIMP that does remove the grain. The photo was taken through the dirty windows of a cheap touristic Thames cruise boat, I think this has some effect on the lightest part of the picture.
I'm glad you like my alpine images, I don't take them as a photographer but only to remember how good it is to be in the mountains...
