Great find Kev, lots of interesting detail in the wall. Maybe the scan has left rather low contrast and subdued colours. I usually correct the perspective distortion for this kind of thing, but I like the way we're left looking up at this one here.

To RGatward: Window - Bairro Alto
Hi Richard - Lisbon is just so rich for anyone interested in photographing surfaces, pattern and texture - a textile artist's dream (not that I am one but know more than a few) - I deliberately exploited the effect of the 35mm lens here - wondered what people would feel about the composition cropping to the top of the window.
Scan not so brilliant - I miss my OM2n but am sold on digital for sharing work in this environment .
