Great plimrn 2009-12-03 9:45

Hi Mary,
Nice to see you back. Your title attracted me to this photo as it promised a new insight. I remember San Diego Harbor, in the late sixties, was filthy; so your hope (and the rainbow's promise) is well founded.

For me, the notes on TE are as important as the photos; and this composition is beautiful. The boat and its reflection draws us to the rainbow. In spite of the difficult light, the colors have great clarity and you maintained detail in the sky; a lovely and informative presentation.

Default To plimrn: Hope for Kingston Harbour?

Hello Pat,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful critique and compliments. I agree with you whole-heartedly about the importance of notes on TE. I was working in San Diego in the eighties, when the work on the waterfront had borne fruit.

I was part of a team working on an IADB-funded project on Kingston Harbour and am glad to say that it has produced some results. However, the integrated programme I recommended is still a dream and I grow weary of continuing inaction. But based on your response, I think I'll post some more images and notes.
Best regards,
