Hello Marie-Louise,
The clouds hovering over the volcano are typical for the tropical climate, and set the mood in this fine image!
Great light that renders strong and vivid colours, the composition is well planned and gives a superb feeling of depth...
Maybe the shape of the mountain isn't a typical cone volcano but I take your word for it hehehe!

True, this looks more like a mountain range. Well, let's call it a volcano range ; As I said in my note, it's a "complex volcano", because there were differnt eruptions at different spots and different epochs. So, there are cones which you can see only when you climb up to them. The most important ones are "Santa Marìa peak" 1916m and Von Seebach peak 1895m. See WS 4 & 5. Regards. Marie-Louise. |
