Great Bartleby 2011-08-01 10:00

Hi Stephen,
wow, that's a beautiful picture! Simple and effective composition, perfect it. I'd like to know how you managed the moon because each time I tried to shoot a landscape with the moon, I've had troubles exposing it correctly...

Default To Bartleby: Exposure

Hi Philippe,

Thanks for your comments. Exposure on the moon can be tricky when it is really dark but this was captured at twilight. I should have mentioned however I did use a graduation filter to help balance this. I think it was 3 stops and I just held it up to the front of the lens. The focal length here was 210mm on full frame camera.

Regards Steve..
