Great macondo 2013-07-21 2:03

Hi David.
Immediately recognisable as Barcelona, that silvery human sculpture on Las Ramblas. But you have captured it with a difference, and timed it well. I take John's point about the blurry background, but realise that you may not have time to adjust your aperture or focal length to get a shot like this at the right moment. I do like the angle of view, and the upturned eyes of the performer. The close crop is just right. Very well done.
Regards,
Andrew

Wink To macondo: Thanks Andrew

I found Barcelona to be a most beautiful place ... everywhere. I felt I had to try and capture one of the charming street performers. Perhaps I do not yet know photography well enough to use the abilities of my camera to there best use. Indeed I wanted to catch the interaction most of all. But I need more understanding on how to make the background less distracting while keeping the foreground crisp and clear. Suggestions always welcome.

David
