Hello May,
I think the island of Santorini has stolen your heart, or at least a part of it.
With this picture you're able to make a lot of people decide to visit this island.
The light of the setting sun makes Oia look like a place of our dreams.
Splendid golden tones on the village with the very pretty white houses, the windmills and the church with a dome built on the steep hill.
The labyrinth that the village is, seems highly attractive here.
Beautiful orange sky on the horizon.

Yes, I think it was in the early morning that I felt very happy - to be surrounded by this amazing beauty - in its architecture, the deep blue sea and sky, and everything that has to do with this place. It is not difficult to fall in love with this place, but one must take the time to feel it, I think. I bought some paintings and watercolour in Fira and Oia, and chatted with this old artist, who in the end told me that if I ever do go back there when I retire, he would teach me to paint !!
