Hello Stephen,
We learn so much, from this site, about places that we may never visit but which enrich our knowledge. It really is a sharing site.
This building is so much more interesting full size than it appears on the thumbnail. The brick decorations, colours and eclectic windows make rich patterns. (I can't quite decide, are some of the decorations painted on?)
You have composed the scene well, the right angled turn well placed and an included archway to extend the depth.
Have a great w/e,
Bev :-)

Hi Bev,
Thanks for looking. Yes, well spotted, these decorations are painted on. I think that's partly what Wikipedia was referring to as regards the post war reconstruction - some of the buildings, however, were rebuilt in a simplified manner. Have a good afternoon and weekend. Weather here continues dry, bright and cold. Best regards Stephen |
