Great foxy 2020-07-14 12:03

Hello Paul,
'Selamat Datang' ke Kampung Patau-Patau rumah terapung...shall I say in Malay.
The wooden platform is like wanting me to explore , to know what's life do the villagers have living in this floating stilt houses. One thing for sure, it's not for me .....I would prefer Kampung ( village ) in the jungle.
It's not the comforts I'm concern ....it's more unpleasant smell in the water ( if you know what I mean ).
Interesting notes...but I would add 'Pe´ to 'labuhan' which it be like 'Pelabuhan'.
Thanks for sharing.
Loong

Default To foxy: Correction Pelabuhan

Thank you for the correction Loong,

An internet site about Labuan said that the name was derived from the Malay word ‘labuhan’ which means harbour.
But of course you know it has to be 'Pelabuhan'.

Best regards,
Paul
