Great ChrisJ 2021-06-21 1:12

Hello Kari,

I am glad you identified the plant as I am fairly clueless with botany and flower species. Could be a magnolia or even cherry blossom for all I know, as I am not familiar with the leaf structure of any of these. I do know it's not oleander which has pointy leaves. Anyway, a nice contrast with the quirky street art in the centre and at right. Good sharpness too. Tfs!

Default To ChrisJ: Rhododendrons

Thanks Chris,
Knowing this is a rhododendron does not get me very far as a botanist. Wikipedia says there are about 1000 species of them.
