stop over for lunch between Guelwongo and Boungou. One feature of any african journey is what I would call kids clusters. When ever you walk or stop somewhere, you have bunch of kids, in the tens of them at least, who follow you, hold your hand, smile at you, and read over your shoulder any written paper you look at or anything you write. This can be annoying at times but overall it gives you a great opportunity for group portraits and, on demand, one-to-one portraits.

And as always, those earthy and natural smiles from their deep heart!
