Photographer's Note

Located in the Giza Necropolis, bordering Cairo, are the three pyramids of Giza. They consist of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Kafhre, and the Pyramid of Menkaura.

You can read more about these pyramids at these sites: Giza Pyramids, Giza Pyramids 2, and Great Pyramid of Giza.

The boy on the camel was one of the many locals whose job was to see if anyone wanted a camel ride.
And depending on what you pay and what you want, you can ride around the pyramids or even go out into the Sahara Desert to take a better picture of all three pyramids together. The price can be haggled of course. He seems a bit bored as not too many people were up for a camel ride that day!

Thanks to all for not critiquing this until I reposted. I reduced the contrast so it didn't look like it was taken by a film camera, and also reduced the quality, so the image size could be slightly bigger. Hope you like this better!
