Photographer's Note

Egypt, at the end of a long overnight journey by train from Cairo to Aswan. It's amazing how the whole landscape changes when moving to the South of the country. That is the part I liked best, because I believe it's the genuine Egypt, with ruined buildings, old cars, poor and friendly people. It's funny because in the South you will see the trade with all the old friends of Mubarak, mostly communist. The soviet Great Dam, the Romanian locks on the Nile, the French and Asian old cars serving as taxis, etc.

This particular picture shows the wall of building with a strong written manifest written in Arabic (I still don't know what is says, if anyone gets it please share). I liked the tones of yellow with the strong dark contrast given my the writing.
