Women sell vegetables in front of one of the many small mosques in Harar.

Harar was a major town on the trade route between inland Ethiopia, the red sea ports and Arabian Peninsula. The walled town is recognised by UNESCO for its cultural significance. It's heyday was in the 16th century.
