Photographer's Note
When I saw this woman in this pose I said to myself I should take a photo. The main problem was that in Guinea the people does not like to be photographed.
I asked her to take one but I needed to negotiate with her the "cachet". After few minutes we agreed and I needed to buy almost all of the bananas she tried to sell to me.
The funny thing is that she was all the time in this pose even when we were talking.
However many thanks to her!

Hehe, I hope you didn't get stomachache! I guess she posed for you, didn't she? Buying all those bananas is worth two points :)

Artur,
You're right about the pose in your photo, it's a strange combination; selling bananas and a rubinesque sort of pose :)
You handeled the contrast very well in the dark area's and her skin is also very good. The scene is really intersting, the sand on her feet, the piece of fabric on the floor and the white in her eyes, looking away from you.
Thanks for the good note!
regards,
David
