Lion King, a photo from Western, Ouest

Lions are the kings of the savana. It is not rare to see them but very rare to be able to come close to them!

Our game guide has managed to get us very close to this amazing animal, and I had the chance to take a photo while it was laying under a bush in order to escape from the mid-day sun and the heat.

King of the jungle, here! (um...I mean the savannah). I like the point of view here--and in the wild! He looks very content. Good composition for this portrait.
