Le Rocher de cristal est un récif coralien situé dans le lagon au large des côtes de l'île Maurice entre l'île aux Bénitiers et le Morne Brabant.
Un rocher devenu emblématique de Maurice avec sa silhouette de champignon, ses quelques arbustes et à son pied des eaux d'un bleu qui émerveille.

It really look like a mushroom. when it is only rock and when already a tiny island? wee have no hint of the scale. I love the colour of sea here, it looks like jelly.

Bonjour Jean,

La distance entre l'îlot et la montagne donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'îlot. Le ciel nuageux ne nuit pas au rendu des couleurs. Bonne journée.

Bonjour Jean,

Il semble tout léger ce rocher qui voit sa base se rétrécir à cause de l'assaut des vagues. Toujours plaisant de voir ces arbustes qui s'accrochent désespérément.

This is an interesting sight. It's cool that a small tree grows out of this giant piece of rock. The color of the water is beautiful, and it's nice that for such a tiny island, someone took the time to give it a name. :-)

Comme un vaisseau de pierre sur la mer émeraude . Je veux bien croire que le Tourisme mauricien utilise souvent cette vue . J'aurais bien aimé peut être aussi une perspective décalée par rapport à la montagne en arrière plan .

It's wonderful how wave action can sculpt rock like this! Where I live, this could never happen, as the tidal variation means that the sea isn't always concentrating its force in one area. And look at the colour of the water! I want to plunge straight in!
