Photographer's Note
This one is much of a holidays family snapshot, but I hope it fits TE spirit. It was shot in a rather tourist oriented restaurant, the Palace Mamounia, at Rue des Siaghines, from where I shot the view of the street that I posted a few days ago. Those folks were entertaining the customers with Moroccan songs and they invited my son to join them, something that was a thrill for him. Like most Moroccans, they were very kind and weren't a bit annoying with tipping. It was a nice lunch, although the food was nothing special.
I have been away from home and TE these last days and I'll be away on work all the week, but maybe I can catch up with you in my solitary nights at the hotel.

Lovely shot, Jose! Your son is very sweet. It does have a bit of a touristy look about it, but I love it anyway! I have this urge to want to crop out the right a little, though- not quite sure why, but I think it might make things a little more symmetrical. Great work, though!

Maria do Carmo

it was a moment to think if your family shot fits. But for sure it does as it shows an important thing of the world, which you detected very well by your own. Not only buildings, landscapes also people behaviour is asked and shown by a lot of us. Their friendly inviting of a guest is nothing else. And you managed to show this in a good way.

He,he, prazer em conhecer o teu filho, José.

Lovely shot for your memories. Your son will be wanting to learn to play the instrument. There are lots of details to admire. Well managed exposure and steady shot for hand-held. Of course it is suitable for TE.

Hello José,
A different view for you, but also very compelling. You've captured the atmosphere very nicely of the trio in the narrow alcove. Wouldn't it be effective, if we could integrate some accompanying music for such photos. With some of the remarkable visions of spring that were submitted from Europe and North America during the past month, I could hear Vivaldi's "Printemps," in my mind. Very well composed, extremely sharp image. The flash has served yoou very well in this photo.
Warm regards, dear José,

Ola Jose,
A really cheerful and happy scenery, and quite authantic for most of the eyes in TE. Their expressions are so charming and joyous, and the architectural details are amazing. Perfect share for learning about the interiors of Morocco. Cheers,

Excellent daily life image. The people, including your son look like they are really enjoying themselves. All the red and white and the patterns on the wall paper look fabulous. I like this image very much.

No doubt that this fits into the TE spirit, Jose. It couldn't be better to show us some of the local folclore. There is so much going on in this scene. I almost can hear and feel the joy and warmth of this musicians. What a pity that the 1/15s didn't give more blurr to the left man while he was clapping his hands.

Hi Jose. The music must have made up for the "nothing special" meal. These musicians remind me of the cds i have of Arabo-Andalusian song and music. I hope you have heard the marvelous voice of Amina Alaoui.Love the expressions and the colour plus the details. regards. Klaudio.
