Lost in Shapes and Colors, a photo from Marrakech, Sud

Photographer's Note

Jardin Majorelle is like an oasis of colors and weird plants in Marrakech. It is a small garden, housing a small pond and a villa of indigo color, first built for the French painter Majorelle who was struck by the light and life in this city of Orientalism. It was then purchased by the famous fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent and renovated, also a museum and bookshop was added. Fantastic bright colors everywhere and interesting cacti as well as palmtrees, ocalyptus and lots of other fauna.

Hi Deniz,
A very eyecatching and surreal shot, I especially like how you have composed this so that the cactus in the foreground looks gigantic, and the woman on the stairs looks more like a scene from a painting than real life. A real combination of colours and shapes, thanks for sharing.

Hello Deniz - I love this shot for its creative composition which together with the strong light and brilliant colours make it an inspiration. The cacti in the FG are so sharp and detailed and the woman and her strong shadow bring an element of surprise and surrealism to the work. Belo uso da lente 10-20mm deu um belo destaque aos cactos em primeiro plano parecem gigantes em comparação com a rapariga de fundo a subir as escadas , boa luz e cores,parabéns!!

A new things in your shot exist that it bother me,it is not bad feature,it bother me with my stereotyped think.
it is a new format of move and static that it exist in cactus.
or may be present of a woman in your shot with opposite of powerful violence of cactus.
the woman`s movement and violent reality of cactus make a contrast with impression colors.
