Photographer's Note

The marble court of Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. In front of one of the main Gates, a kid is running at another kid, who was mocking and making faces at him afar. The day was stormy with no possible sunshine, so i decided to use "cloudy" white balance during the making of, then on my PC it looked too yellow, so i decided to reduce the color temperature in RAW processing, maintaning a more natural color on marble.

The Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca is the 7th largest mosque in the world. Its minaret is the world's tallest at 210 metres. It is almost brand new, completed in 1993. The mosque stands on Atlantic Ocean coast, the oceanic waves literally hitting its walls. A maximum of 105,000 worshippers can gather together for prayer: 25,000 inside the mosque hall and another 80,000 on the mosque's outside grounds.
