In the village of Bedik people. I liked the warm colours of soil, houses, and dresses.

The Bedick, or Bedik, are a minority ethnic group of Africa. They live in villages in the most isolated area of eastern Senegal, in the Arrondissement of Bandafassi. Iwol is one of their settlements.

Witaj Malgo

It seems the local kids are wearing a mixture of both Western and African clothing and fashions. The little girl at the back at right looks so tiny in comparison to the 3 fg girls. Tfs!

Hello Malgo,
A nice photo of the brightly dressed girls standing by a typical brick and mud house. The flowers at the bottom match their clothes well. I just wonder why they look so bored. I imagine how they sigh deeply and think "okay, let's pose for yet another white tourist to keep her happy". ;-) My favourite detail is actually the small girl in the background, hurrying to take part in the photo session, still not old enough to bored with the tourists.

Interesting information shows that this is more than just 3 African girls.
It is funny to see that one girl clearly looks at the photographer, the middle one just along you and the third one just as if you doesn’t exist at all.

Even if they pose, they look natural in front of your camera and have some relax attitude. The young one is too late to be on the picture!

what is it infront of the children, the red things? Did they sell homemade souvenirs? Looks like strange animals.
You cloned something out between their feet and the red somethings, after I discovered it, I´m very, very curious.

The many warm colours throughout the photo are all very attractive. The person in blue at right stands out most, but even she has hot some red as well. You captured the three people very well in a good square composition.

The colors are great in this photo. Each child in the front is wearing something red, and that compliments the red flowers in the foreground perfectly. I also like the earthy colors of the ground and houses. Nice triple portrait with interesting poses, too.

What a nice daily photo from this village. I have heard of the Bedik people, some months ago a missionary visited our church and explained the project he was working on: Translate the Bible into Bedik language! It's a small world!
