She was rather perplexed that I could think they are worth a photo but kindly agreed to it. The white kaolin is " ... for the complexion." I had to clone quite a bit of unwanted background out, though. Did it work? You decide.

Hello dear Neels - How lovely to see you here again, it's been an age since you last posted. My guess is that your business is keeping you running about, I hope it is all going well. What a lovely and very attractive mum. Her direct look at your lens immediately makes a connection between the two of us; she looks like a gentle and caring soul. Soft light brings out the beauty of her skin. What a cute child she has, no doubt much loved and precious. I've never tried cloning but I think you have done quite a decent job here. It is a little noticeable around the top of mum's head but I think this type of PP work requires lots of practice and skill.

How's life in SA? All's well in Windhoek

mother and child are beautiful, I like very much their closeness in this classic pose and their glances are very interesting, especially the mother's. So, I think you did well to isolate them from the busy background and give us the chance to appreciate all these qualities and the fine, warm colours as well. Maybe there's a way to warm up the backdrop hue a bit, though. The soft lighting is superb. Congratulations and thank you!

A proud of this mother and son portrait, love the expression you've captured on your face and the intensity of his gaze, really fantastic.
The pasta that lead in the face, I guess it must be like for sun protection in a country in Asia, I've seen ....
Wonderful range of colors in very soft tones.
An image with lighting and sharpness are very well managed.

Really good close up double portraits of the mother and child. Love the expression of the proud mother and the little funny expression on the baby looking sideway :) Very cute. Good color and lovely moment between the mother and child.
