Photographer's Note
I had some earlier post about good running locations in Beirut and South Beach and this is another great running spot. This is suburb of Cape Town called Greenpoint, 1-2km south west of city centre. In the back you see the Green Point lighthouse in Mouille Point.
Whats so great about this location is that it's, as you can see, very wide and traffic free so that you never have to stop. It's also quite long, you can easily run 45 min to an hour all the way to the south (Camps Bay) and back. Good altitude differences. Great views of the Table Mountain, Lions head and the Atlantic. Nice sea breeze and lots of other runners. At night it's well lit. Array of radio stations is so-so. A nice climate most of the year.
The building all the way on the right is the 21 storey Ritz hotel. You can go all the way up for a drink or some dinner and the entire restaurant makes a full rotation every 90 minutes. On a clear day you'll get some breathtaking views of the Sea Point district!
Edit: I made it a theme called My Mizuno's and me.

Wow! Alsof het er voor gemaakt is :)
Lekker rustig stekkie voor een eindje hardlopen, vooral met zo'n uitzicht, daar droomt iedere loper toch van!?
