Photographer's Note

And the series continue, this time on the slopes of Chapmans Peak above the Historic Fort where we were walking we found these Protea, this one is known as the Pin Cushion. These protea are in abundance on the slopes of the mountain and come in various sizes upto the King Protea, The protea are also protected fauna. They are sturdy and after the raging fires that we experienced nearly 4 years ago they are springing up everywhere deep in the slopes hence my title 'Eternal Optimist'. They give life to these mountains. In the background is the Sentenal mountain. Another image for your viewing pleasure posted to WS.
