Photographer's Note
This is a photo I took of an elephant at a sanctuary outside of Plettenberg Bay. The elephants were "performing" for us a bit much in my view. However, considering the fact that they were rescued animals from culling or circuses, I suppose it wasn't so bad. They seemed to have a decent quality of life in captivity. I am very passionate about elephants.
I used a free trial of Photoshop Elements to sharpen the animals, yet blur the background, convert to b/w and manipulate the tone, and crop.

Hello Dana,
I appreciate the point of view you have chosen for those elephants. It is an original shot and the composition is good because it allows to see correctly the first 2 bottoms with the tails in opposite direction.
