Dans les ruelles de Stone Town,
il y a des vieilles façades moisies par le climat marin.
Il y a les gouttières percées qui vous inondent.
Il y a des volets de bois mort qui claquent avec le vent.
Il y a des fils posés par la modernité et qui relient les êtres.
Il y a des percées de lumière et des couleurs étranges.
Il y a des hommes qui se cherchent et qui attendent.


In the lanes of Stone Town,
there are old frontages mildewed by the marine climate.
There are the bored gutters which flood you.
There are deadwood shutters which bang with the wind. There are wire posed by modernity and which connect the people.
There are openings of light and colors strange.
There are men who seek themselves and who wait.
