Une petite image "volée" à Auxerre, à côté du magasin où je faisais mes provisions pour la semaine. La silhouette noire au sac blanc et les arbres aux couleurs d'automne m'ont tout de suite fait penser au titre choisi!

Hello JJ,

You were lucky to spot this woman with the golden tree behind there and quick enough to grab the camera. Very attraftive fresh composition. You still have a nice autumn, in Warsaw all the leaves are fallen already and it is the worst time of year.

Hi Jean

Please understand that I consider myself a novice photographer with much to learn. The same can be said about my critiquing.

I too like autumn colours and I like this image, which needs the inclusion of the person to give it a focal point. Possibly the image is a little bright at bottom left and the depth of field could be a little wider. But, in my opinion, still a good capture of autumn and its colours.

Hello Jean Jacques,
It's a fine photo. The colourful trees draw the immediate attention but it's the inclusion of the woman that makes this a good composition. Without her it would have been just another picture of bright autumn colours, not very interesting. The woman is a strong focal point and a counterbalance to the colours, besides being well placed and walking into the photo.

Nota perfetta ...il cambio di stagione visibile dai colori, vestiti, strade con foglie ..... L'estate è passata ed anche gli occhi non trovano i "conforti estivi" in compenso .....

A very nice daily life picture with the wonderful autumn colour of the leaves.
The lady in black clothes is a nice contrast on the pleasant colours.
Sharpness and clarity are perfect.

J'aime vraiment beaucoup le choix du titre. Il convient parfaitement à cette photo volée dans la rue. Il y a longtemps chez nous que les feuilles de cette couleur sont à la rue. Le cadrage vertical est bien choisi pour ce genre de photo.

Bien vu, jolie scène avec ce contraste entre la robe noire (j'ai cru que c'était une nonne !)et les teintes flamboyantes des feuillages, bon effet aussi avec le mouvement du au vent.

Good use of a shallow dof with sharp focus on the woman in stylish black attire and the golden leaves of Autumn on the tree above her. The bg is oof too, to accentuate the fg. Good color and a nice decisive moment shot. Tfs!

for obvious reasons the black contrast so well against the autumn colors - you couldn't have had a better contrasting subject for your photo scene.

The lady in black walking into the picture is an excellent element in the composition. How lovely that there is a 'carpet' of autumn leaves for her to walk through and an 'umbrella' of leaves still on the tree.

I love the stark contrast here and obviously hard to ignore making the already attractive autumn scene even more graceful emphasised further by the bold golden colour. A fine crop, clarity is great with good sharpness. Congrats
