Photographer's Note
.. Though not really from a room. It`s shot from a platform of a restaurant above Izola. The view is good, and you can enjoy it, while sipping a well deserved pint of beer, having hiked up all the way.
Anyway, Izola (Isola in Italian) is one of the handful of towns in the Slovenian part of Istra (Istria), the others being Ankaran, Koper, Piran, and Portorož, with a couple of smaller settlements like Strunjan. The coast itself is only 42km long. Although still plenty enough for me.
Thanks for seeing and reading.

Hello Miha!
What a view! I really like this picture!
The pov was very well chosen and it was pretty privileged! The composition is effective with eye-cacthing visual results! Level of sharpness is suitable to the image! Exposure and natural colors are excellent! A place that's quite worthwhile visiting someday and your picture's pretty inviting!
TFS - congratulations!

Zdravo,
The natural framing with trees is great. The composition and natural colors are nice. The picture gives the impression of a very quiet place. I would return visit the Balkans... I really liked this place when I visited in 1999

If this was your room view it means you were very fortunate. Slovenia is a beautiful country as i see in your photo. Naturally framed, and very nice colors, wd!

A great photo Miha,
Good composition and colours. Looks like an interesting town (I haven't been to the coast of Slovenia). is that Slovenia or Italy in the background?

Yes dear Miha, I perfectly know this beautiful place because every year I am guest of the Hotel Salinera, that is situated few meters under the street. Your photo is better than mine because you have managed better the light and the colors. It has been really a pleasure to see Izola again, one of the most suggestive villages in Slovenia. Compliments!
Ciao, have a nice day!

Prelep pogled na more Miha. Dođe mi da skočim. Izola je na tako lepom mestu. Voleo bih da je na granici sa Srbijom. Ali to je bajka.
Uživaj prijatelju, a ako ti padne napamet Guča...tamo ćeš me naći.
Srdačni pozdravi,

Hello Miha, A superb landscape, very well captured & framed, I can see you now sitting there enjoying a cold beer on a warm summers day, I immediate thought is that I wish I could be there sharing a beer with you, maybe next time. Lovely shot.
Thanks

Hello Miha,
I've made a similar photo as the one you've posted here but it's definitely from another POV because I couldn't frame the view with trees and I certainly didn't see any hotel or other building around. So sipping a beer wasn't part of my experience at my POV :(
It's one of the greatest views you can have on the Slovenian coastline and the marina is an important part of that view. But I think that the town of Izola isn't that much interesting as Piran where I spent most of my time at the Slovenian Riviera.
Anyway my holiday in your country has certainly pleasured me a lot.
PS: You named the names of the places at the coast. Could it be you've forgotten Lucija ? I think I also passed through that village.
Best regards, Paul

Hey Miha,
Ah, this photo is bringing back memories! I never actually made it to Izola per se, but I think your photo really captures well the general scenery and overall landscape impression of the Slovenian coastline. It's a great view, and I like the frame of vegetation around all sides.
Cheers,
Jordan

Hello Miha,
A fine panoramic seascape, well composed and pretty sharp - the one which meets my tastes. When I see harbours and boats...
I must remember the name when I happen to sail about those places... I hope people are kinder than in Mala Proversa, Croatia (Acquarius restaurant)... (:-)
