Photographer's Note
The old Fort in delhi has a long history. This is where the ruins of the famed city of Indraprastha, the first ever city of delhi are known to be buried. this fort however has been home to the Mughal King Humayun and his once conqueror, Sher Shah Suri. this is where Humayun died when he slipped from the steps of a library. I got this shot on a low light cloudy evening.

Hello Aadiil,
The post processing you have performed on this photo provides a strong feeling of fairy tales and fits well to the title you selected.
I think it comes from the warm lightning diffused by the myst of the evening.
The final effect is strong and nice.
Yves.

Hello Aadiil! There is such an immense beauty in this one and I love the yellow-greens together with the golden tone of the wall that goes in a diagonal line through your photo. It somehow has an antique feeling when I look at your post, maybe it is the long history of the Fort that gives me this idea and that you describe in your note. Very nice low light you had, I like this mood a lot. Barbara.

Hi Aadil,
Nicely composed, with a divine light. I love the golden tones on the walls, and the large view on the meadow. I am really surprised: there is not anybody in it. A so peaceful place in the middle of Delhi and I don't know it?! That's a shame!

A classic image Aadiil. Great idea to use the wide frame to really set off the old fort. Wonderful warmth of colour.
Dangerous places, libraries. Lots of violent deaths have had there start there.

Hi Aadiil,
I like the low colour temperature, it´s a very beautiful light. The line of the horizon is rising from left to right, which has a positive meaning, at least in western cultures.
Good one! Thanks for showing this magic and mystic place.

hello Aadiil,
I like this photo a lot, the postprocessing has created a feeling similar to the old postcards that have both faded and become more saturated with time. love the golden colour of the fort walls, they seem to shine from the screen. also, this is one of those rare cases when a cloudy sky fits perfectly the mood of the photo emphasising the feeling of faded postcard. very nice work, my compliments.
with best regards,
Kristine

There was something magical to the old Fort in Delhi when I visited. I didn't get a chance to take any photos of it unfortunately, but I like this one. I also loved how this was the old Fort, while the Red Fort is older than most structures in Canada. I appreciate the history of India...
I like all the grass in the foreground. Delhi really surprised me for all the green it had, and this photo shows it.

David

Hello Aadiil:
Do not know if they say has been beneficial or disadvantageous preserve the sky in this way, but I think that a job is very interesting, because from your point of view lateralized, has enabled us to appreciate a great architectural beauty. Great frame and friendly atmosphere.

Asalam-o-Alaikum Adil,
A signature shot! The low PoV accentuates the grandeur of the Fort. Its a shame that it is in such run down state. Fotunately in a lot of other places in the world the relics of the once famous muslim world are in much better state. Nice warm green tones make this shot somewhat nostalgic. I however feel that an HDR composition here would have nicely balanced the blown out sky.
Thanks for sharing

Hello Aadiil,
This is an interesting construction indeed!
Like in Europe the fort is located on an elevated place in the landscape, but the design is clearly different with no apparent towers...
I like the composition, as the point of view results in a strong diagonal!
Maybe the note would be stronger with some dates?

Hello Aadiil,
This photograph more reminds the painter′s work thanks to the delicate and pastel- colouring, and across the very nice frame. The delicate coated sky with fledged clouds splendidly fills up the composition. Very good POV, excellent framing.

Hi Aadiil, yes it looks like starting a story.. and it goes on like this; ...there was a king on the hill, he has a beautiful daughter that loves a man who lives very far away from her.. the king was so strong and bad that he never lets her daughter to go out..... :) yes the traditional story:) your photo and the title remind me the story..
Have a nice day,

Your photos in such small formats are like little gems, the colours are great here and it's hard to believe that you took this photo in Delhi !
(Personally I would have been tempted to clone out the "modern buildings" on the left, but in a way it's great that you have kept them as it tells us how things really are nowadays !)
Congrats and best regards,
Cath.
