On a hike I met this lonesome angler near the village Grafschaft in the low mountain range Rothaargebirge.
The scenery was so calm, so "intensive" - I didn't dare to adress him - and he didn't notice me at all ...

Guten morgen !

Na ja fast, fast.. Nur um Bruchteile enier Sekunde vermisst aber doch noch drei Haueser weiter.
Es fehlen nur noch paar konzentrische Ringe auf der Wasseroberflaeche und man weisst was der Herr dort gerade macht !
Spass beiseite; eine wunderbare "Herbstszene" mit allen dazugehoerigen drum und dran.
Wetten dass, "mindestens 50 Punkte zusammen kommen" (bis spaetestens naechsten Montag).
So oder so, bestens

No people - I used to critique such photo.

This is a fine autumn colors shot. The overhanging tree frames the shot beautifully. This is a perfect capture of this serene atmosphere. The lighting and colors are great and the photo's sharpness is spot on. Looks like a place where I would like to spend an afternoon!

Hi Frank,
A very pleasant picture with this "compleat" angler. I like the strong yellow colours in the leaves here. I see at the satellite view this is a very small pond, so I presume it is one of those "put-and-take" ponds with "tame" trouts. I hope he could catch something!

Hallo Frank,
entweder hast du dich so geschmeidig wie eine Katze angeschlichen, oder der Angler war zu beschäftigt mit der "Jagdvorbereitung", dass er dich auf diese Entfernung nicht bemerkt hat. ;-) Das Bild strahlt jedenfalls tatsächlich eine herrliche Ruhe aus. Dein POV, das warme Licht, die schönen Herbstfarben und auch die Spiegelungen auf dem Wasser ergeben ein wunderschönes Bild. Gefällt mir sehr gut.

sehr ruhiges Bild mit sehr guten Farben.Gefällt mir ausgezweichnet.Als Angler muss man ja auch die Ruhe weg haben wie man so sagt...Sehr gute Fotoarbeit.

Hello Frank,
A really fine photo. The busy man is very nicely framed by autumnal vegetation. Only his shirt doesn't go so well with the natural colours. I can almost imagine you walking carefully, hardly daring to breath, anxious not to step on a dry wig :-), all just so you shouldn't disturb him.
The sharpness is remarkable too.

Nice, clandestine photo. I love your composition.The branches give very discrete separation of his world from ours. Thanks for respecting his solitude, that's what he is there for.

Le sujet original dans votre creation cher ami Frank. Votre inspiration est bien comprehensible: ces couleur, cette atmosphere, cette possiblite de respirer et de juir l'automne la plus belle possible.
