The Great Pollet Arch, a photo from Donegal, Nord

Photographer's Note

The Great Pollet Arch situated on the Fanad Peninsula, Donegal. Captured in the evening near to sunset I was hoping for some colour in the sky but the next best thing to that is a heavy brooding sky. A polarzier enhanced the aqua colour in the sea. A fantastic location for many reason, I will be back soon.

Very good feeling to this picture from the green water in the foreground through to the dark clouds. The format suits this well.

Hello Stephen,

One thing at first, you make a great job with your HDR Pictures. Thumb up.
But, I have only 1 critique point. You always have a light flare around these objects which have a strong light/dark boundary. In this case around the arch. I know that's a problem of the different HDR effect software but spend a bit time to bring your pictures to perfection.

Hi Stephen,

You create wonderful emotive scenes in your photography. Each time you feature a moving element of water you give us a unique, dynamic view of the world. The colours are more subdued in this photo from some of your other pieces, which is a fine thing indeed because the subtle colour range works well especially in bringing out the texture of the rocks as a foremost feature. The sky is very special here, excellent cloud formations. Sensational work.
