Great timing to get this shot, with the sun highlighting alone this spectacular piece of creation. It's as though God shined a light upon it just for you, and through you, for all of us.
I will be passing by there within a month on a trip I have in the planning and hope to sometime get a shot as nice as this in that area.

The place is very beautiful and heart. A good combination of clouds and houses with this mountain with an imposing very well recorded.

Hello Gregory,

Words fail me! This is a spectacular scene, the light appears to illuminate the monolithic shaft rising from the desert floor, and you have produced a classic for Trekearth. I have not been to Monument Valley, but I have seen photographs of it. I cannot imagine a more dramatic scene in Monument Valley.

hi gregory,
this is simply stunning. the colour tones are amazing with the incredible light illuminating the equally incredible rock formation. the light on the rock and the dark brooding sky with those dramatic clouds combine perfectly to create a very atmospheric image. excellent picture.
