Photographer's Note

The Trausnitz castle is located on a high plateau above the city of Landshut in Bavaria. The castle was founded in 1204 by Duke Ludwig I of Bavaria as the seat of the ruling Wittelsbach family. In the late Middle Ages, from 1255 to 1503, Landshut was the political center of the duchy of Lower Bavaria, it may be said the Trausnitz Castle was the first chancellor's seat in Bavaria, there were built impressive fortifications - a ring of walls and defensive towers. The castle was expanded over the centuries and equipped with works of art. Unfortunately, I had too little time to visit the castle. I only could take photos from afar.
