Photographer's Note
During winter season, the Bonsecours Basin in picturesque Old Montreal is transformed into a skating rink, offering a beautiful view over the city on one side, and St.Laurent river on the other.
A great place to bring a date, friends from out of town, as well as the whole family.

hi andre. i am looking at it on the tiny screen of my cell phone, but i couldn't wait for seeing the large version. there is a magic in here, i mean, i've seen tons of flake photos but the ones here are different. exposure, flash whatever you did here makes this one unique. and for the first time in my life, looking at a snowing photo makes me happy almost like the times i see it snowing in real. lovely and full of magic.

Hello Andre - I wonder, as the Christmas season is almost upon us do you miss the Northern hemisphere celebrations? This is wonderful, the atmosphere created by the bright streaks of falling snow and star shaped points of light is like something from a Christmas fairy tale. Magical! Warm regards Rosemary

Outstanding winter image, with fine light and the soft flakes falling slowly from the sky. I like the FG too.

Hello Andre,
This is a gorgeous winter postcard. The snow looks like it's glowing as it gently falls. I like the way the bare tree branches frame each side, and the lights seem to burst into stars. It's a magical scene. Have a Merry Christmas!

Hello Andrew,
This is a magic photo, but I'm just waiting for Cinderella to appear. You have really re-created the atmosphere of an old Disney cartoon with this light, the snowflakes and the lamps shining like stars. It's actually quite fantastic,
Kind regards,

How did you do this Andre? How? A slow shutter makes the Snow look like shooting stars? It is almost fairytale like :) No words at all. Simply Brilliant!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Hi again,
Not much to say but just to show my appreciation for such technically fine image. Love the motion of the snow fall in a diagonal slant. The snow trail feel like asteroid and stars falling to earth.
