Photographer's Note

In the park of Siegen's upper castle there's a small open air stage where concerts and similar events take place in summer - by the way - from May to Oktober every Sunday at 4 p.m. ;-)
At the moment one nearly can't believe that performances ever will take place there again ... but seat cushions already have been distributed ... ;-))

You even can see these rows of chairs in the map view.

Guten Morgen Frank,

tolle Sitzkissen hast Du da eingefangen, sehen aus frisch gewaschen.. schönes Licht in der Aufnahem und ein klasse Blickwinkel, übrigens ist die Auflösung im MAP-view sehr gut..

Drauf sitzen, mit den Fuessen im Schnee und dann zwei Stunden lang Wagner hoeren (muessen) ; was waere das fuer ein tolles Tortur !
Aber der naechste Sommer kommt bestimmt auch.
Ein huebsches und graphisch perfektes Beitrag zum schmunzeln !

Guten Morgen Frank,

ja alle warten wir sehnlichst auf den Frühling... hier in Apulien hatten wir gestern einen herrlich warmen Sonnentag, heute ist schon wieder alles mies und grau...

Schönes Bild mit gutem graphischem Effekt, die Schneehaufen auf den Sitzen sehen fast wie Sahnehäubchen aus :)

This is a fine humorous shot with those cold seat cushions. The curve of the seats leads the eye through the shot nicely. Your light management is fine showing nice details in the snow without overexposure.

This winter's snow seems to offer endless possibilities for creative photographers. I like this plain but sophisticated composition of black and white curves with touches of very light blue (or is it just grey?).

Was für eine orginelle Idee! Das gefällt mir sehr, vor allem der Kontrasat von Schwarz und Weiß, sowie die Kurve nach links. Blende 11 war goldrichtig. Guter Fotojob.

Danke für Deine Kritik meines Penang Fotos. Morgen fahren wir mal ausnahmsweise nicht hin, das Chinesenneujahr ist noch immer nicht über die Bühne, da kann man stecken bleiben.

Bei uns ist ein Brutofen, 32-34 Grad Celsius und kein Tropen Regen!!!

Good afternoon Frank,
Undoubtedly, seat cushions spread on the seats look very attractive. I doubt, however, that remained in place for years ... But I am full of appreciation for nature that everyone fotelowi prepared identical white cushion. All we are waiting impatiently for the summer. For now, the roof of my house falling avalanches of melting snow. Clouds in the sky ready to get rid of excess moisture. I wonder if looking at them, it will be snowing or maybe rain?
Returning to this photo, I must say that I really like the way crop here. Regular rows of seats is reinforced arches dynamic images. Whiteness of snow recorded in many shades of gray emphasizing the spatiality of these details. Contrast, maintains an excellent mood of photography. Personally, I ventured to cut a piece of the upper part of the image. Mim think staff would be cleaner. Nevertheless, appreciate this picture as a very professional!

A great composition here! The graphism and the geometry of the curve created by these chairs covered by snow is very strong and gives an agreeable visual attraction to your photo.
I like the effect of the light and the shades on the snow, and B/W sensation, when the photo has color.

I have to say, well seen!
This is delightful!
It really pleases me with is curves, its patterns and its textures!
I love how the pov draws the eyes around the frame, giving lots of time to appreciate the different shapes created by snow and sunlight.
Although taken in colour, it could easily be b&w.

Eine wirklich sehr interessante Komposition. Mir gefällt sehr, wie sich die Kurve der Sitzreihe durch das gesamte Bild zieht. Verursacht irgendwie eine dynamische Atmosphäre. Die Schärfe des Bildes ist auch perfekt. Man kann die Oberfläche und Textur des Schnees genau erkennen.
