Photographer's Note

As a former Ice hockey player, I played as a goalkeeper, the 2010 Olympic winter games where of great interest to me.
The BC Stadium located north of False Creek was the iconic sight for the 2010 Olympic winter games in Vancouver. Both the opening and the closing ceremonies where held there, but no competitions where held there. For a long time I myself believed that is was the venue for the Ice hockey tournament ...... but alas it is a soccer stadium really.
This is a view in the waning light of early evening from atop the tower at the harbor center. The 360 degrees view over Vancouver from there is amazing and well worth the entry fee, especially so because one pays only once and can go up as many times as one wishes in one day. Perfect for say first some daylight shots than later come back for a night view
