Photographer's Note

Another shot taken at the same location in Bojoe from a different point of view, the spot I previously scouted the day before. Yes, just another sunrise and routine! Maybe one of the most photographed thing in the world when the sun performs a beautiful show playing with heavy grey clouds around and with every being on earth, remembering us the power and the beauty of nature after the darkest night before.

For me the first few moments I find right when my whole attention remained with this magical moment as the sun breaks for a new day and new beginning, is a very special time. So full of energy and life that have filled me when the sweet light creates the most dimensions to the seascape and skyscape.

Frankly speaking, it is often hard to get up at 4am, hurriedly get dressed, grab the equipment and drive to the location but chasing the light has become my routine and a way of life in any of my shooting locations. At the end of the day, I love the feeling of having seized the golden opportunity and then going out for breakfast. It seems like all is right in the world when you sip some nice warm Java coffee with a sense of accomplishment so early in the day. I hope that this shot can transmit at least a part of the wonderful feeling that I experienced.

Hello Abmdsudi , the dramatic sky is enhanced by the saturated colours in a perfect composition for the occasion,the little boat sailing into the oncoming storm adds even more interest and drama.

Hi Abmdsudi,

a wonderful and dramatic sky, magnified by an original and well thought out composition.The small sailboats cutting through water almost disappear in front of this sight.The intense and violent colours well convey the pathos of the scene.

Hello Abmdsudi,
unbelievable what amazing spectacles can nature create.It´s definitely not just another sunrise shot,for me one of the most beautiful ever seen!
The combination of so amazing and almost touching the sea cloud formations,the warm colors of rising sun so beautifully contrasting to the blue sky-everything seems to be perfect.
It´s a moment we wish it could last much longer.

Although saturation and noise level near the top of the shot are pushing towards the limit...what would have been just a (really good) nature shot becomes a lot more than that by the inclusion that little blue triangle in the corner. Superb!!

Wow! Excellent capture! With this kind of shot I'd get up very early in the morning and after achieving my goals I would walking on cloud 9! I just can't get over how beautiful this scene is! The colors are outstanding and the lighting is terrific. The clouds looks transparent. You must enter this in a National Geographic Contest. I think you've set yourself another standards. That is one of those spectacular sunrise which can put the sky on fire. You were lucky that there was this huge cumulus cloud, so you could avoid the mandatory flares. Bold colours and high sharpness, not to be forgotten the sail at the right, it helps to give dimension. Well done

Hi Abmdsudi,

You're capturing well this scene by a good timing and excellent tone/clarity, so it's impressive to see the dramatic sunrise nature changing from dark to bright. Especially, it's delightful for the contrast between clouds dyed to orange color and blue sky. And, the boad with silhouette sailing on the sea draws out an additional good effect in this image.

Well I think the result you got in this wonderful composition justifies entierly your getting up so early.
This is simply beautiful. The sky on fire with gorgeous golden and blue tones, superb clouds and the lonely sailing boat to add a touch of mystique, again simply beautiful.

Oh wow! What a shot. The golden light and the deep blue sky make stunning companions. Those rays of light, the soaring clouds dwarf that tiny little boat on the right of the frame. It makes us realise how small and insignificant we are.

Abmdsudi, this is another lovely sunrise shot. The colors obviously are fantastic and you've done a wonderful job with the detail and the light. Besides the boat, looking all alone on the ocean, I particularly like the brightly-lit tiny cloud towards the upper right - nice clear, white light on that cloud.

WOW,, this are hudge clouds!! and what a saturation of colors. Very impressive. I don't know if it is because of the compression but at some parts de noise is very visible. Still amazing moment that you sghare with us. Thanks

This is an amazing composition, Abmdsudi.
The well saturated golden tones with a big part in blue, made the sky-scene so superior.
