Photographer's Note
When we went gorilla tracking at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, we were lucky enough to have this expressive gorilla who was very willing to pose for us. All of these shots were taken within a five minute period.
I was inspired by some of the recent panorama postings to give this one a try. I wanted to say thanks again for all of the inspiration from this site. I bought a Photoshop for Dummies (which I am when it comes to this stuff) book the same day that I joined TE, and I've learned far more here than I did from the book.
All of these shots were cropped from larger shots, so unfortunately, the quality isn't there for a large posting.

What a wonderful subject to pose for you! I really like your presentation of these shots, a little photojournalistic. Beautiful, good job!

Very interesting composition. I just critique that the 2 first photos has different exposition (luminosity and details) than the 2 last one. This could be corrected easily. Funny subject. :-) Great work, nice presentation.

Joli travail que j'aurais aimé voir en version large mais la réponse est dans ta note.
Bonne idée d'avoir monté ces images de cette facon.

It is a pity they are not larger, but nevertheless they are very expressive and beautiful. How do you explain the variation in the exposure??.

Great series, I especially like no 2 which reminds me of a certain politician ;-)). The light is better in the two first ones, maybe because he's withdrawn into more shade closer to the trunk.

Just one of these shots would be good, but four together is special. Excellent work. Well done.

A very special composition Mimi. The different expressions are well arranged and thought out. Excellent framing too. A good idea.

Wonderful series Mimi and he/she is very expressive indeed. Never mind the missing sharpness the pictures are great.

Wonderful series you made out of these 4 beautiful photos Mimi - I could have liked to see them a little bigger - and I was going to suggest a large post - but I can see in your notes you had considered.
Very nice work anyway - thanks for sharing.

There is a lot of personality in each of the photo's in this collection. The progression is also great. The last two are a little dark, but as other's have said that's easy to adjust. Well done.
