Photographer's Note
One of Armenia's least known and interesting attractions is to be found at the top of Ughtasar Mountain. Aside from the natural beauty of the mountaintop valley, the views and the small lake, there is an abundance of ancient petroglyphs which are between four and seven thousand years old. Unfortunately, this is one of the most difficult places to reach, with a solid 4x4 needed and with no real roads leading up to it, compounded by a short visiting season.
To reach Ughtasar with 4x4, one recommends a "Waz" over a "Niva". The track fades in and out during the 1.5 hour drive from Ishkhanasar Village (very close to the town of Sisian) to the top of Ughtasar. I strongly recommend a guide from the village or Sisian. There are professional guides, but if one asks around, one will be able to hire someone for a very reasonable price. Trips should only be made from mid-July to late September, since the mountain is snow covered most of the rest of the year.

Hi Suren, welcome to TE!!
a wonderful mountain view view you are showing here with a beautiful mix of green and white and nice reflections. Just an advice: you should use the maximum of the 800 pixels width aloud in order to get the posted image a little bigger.
Kind regards
