Photographer's Note

Mount Aragats is an isolated four-peaked volcano massif in Armenia. Its northern summit, at 4,090 m (13,420 ft) above sea level, is the highest point of the Lesser Caucasus and Armenia. It is also one of the highest points in the Armenian Highlands.The Aragats massif is surrounded by Kasagh River on the east, Akhurian River on the west, Ararat plain on the south and Shirak plain on the north. The circumference of the massif is around 200 km
Situated 40 kilometres (25 mi) northwest of Armenian capital Yerevan, Aragats is a large volcano with numerous fissure vents and adventive cones. Numerous large lava flows descend from the volcano and are constrained in age between middle Pleistocene and 3,000 BCE.

Widac, ze wysoko (nawet jakbym nie sluszala wczesniej o tej gorze), bo we wrzesniu juz snieg. Byles na samiutkim szczycie?

Hi Piotr,

The clouds have a dramatic effect on the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the mountains. There is a good contrast between the colours of the picture. Have a nice day.

Cześć Piotrze, Ciekawe zdjęcie ze szczytu. Wysoko sie wdrapałeś 4000 to nie przelewki. Podróże stały sie skomplikowane, na szczęście mamy bogate archiwa. Ja jestem ciekawa jak dostane sie do Polski z Niemiec i jak będzie wygladała kwarantanna.

This looks cold and unpleasant but also fascinating in a slightly scary way. Except for some brown areas this is almost like a B&W photo. The very few colours make the photo quite beautiful.

Piotr, the picture shows an impressive volcano in Armenia. Its slopes are covered with a thin snow layer. To hike here provides thrills. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.

I like the minimalist color and sepia like tones of the dried grass. The snow enhances the graphism. Good sharpness and the cloud at left in the valley adds mood. Tfs!

przejmujacy gorski widok.
Snieg przyjemnie dekoruje scenerie. Chmury dodaja dramatyzmu.
Pomimo ze swiatla nie ma w nadmiarze to jednak efekt niemal apokaliptyczny, dobrze pasuje do czasow epidemii :)
