Photographer's Note
I decided for my first TE post I would post my all time favorite photo. I took this photo just outside of Phnom Penh at the killing fields of the Khmer Rouge. At this spot hundreds of thousands of innocent Cambodian's were killed only 30 years ago. This boy was beggar, living day to day. Tragic that how he got his daily bread was by living and begging at one of the spots where countless Cambodian's were killed.

Awesome picture! I love the overall picture with the boy looking through the barbed wire. It is truly a sad testament to the life that many of them live, but it is a truly lovely shot. Thanks so much for sharing.

hi jeff: i feel this one is a sure candidate for a b&w transformation. the photo wold be much more in sync with it's intended message that way than with the warm color palette present now.
belated welcome to TE!

Hi Jeff, very nice, the impact in this shot is great. Very good composition, the barbed wires are really fitting to the story behind it. The Note as well really helps, thanks for sharing this very strong image.
Impressive!
