I took this photo on a school campus in Siem Reap province. What I like about this photo is her strong determined face. School dropout is quite a concern in Cambodia, especially among girls and among those in rural areas where home and school are quite far.

What comes over to me is your obvious affection for the subject superbly caught spontaneously - a wonderful innocent face & photogenic even without direct eye contact essentially make the shot work and talk directly to viewers. Mono tone and shallow dof is just perfect without destroying the original integrity of a very tender and good honest photograph. Marvellous shot, Congrats

The composition "rocks", the delicate black&white, the soft blur of the bokeh on the right is atmosferic and the lovely young lady has a gorgeous gaze...
