Photographer's Note

A simple snap shot before nightfall, revealing the floating shacks in Chrongkos slum on Tonle Sap river, north east of town. A very crammed and difficult living conditions with no chance of improving, I think. There is so much poverty and suffering that we can't begin to imagine being forced to live like this.

An ugly sight but that's the reality........

A good close up of this Ayer Kampong. Nice reflections, excellent colour and saturation. The boy in red shorts adds a great warm cold colour contrast against the blue grey sky. Tfs!

These images with the shacks on the water are painful and distressing to me, what a shame to have to live like this, and the worst with minimal possibilities of change, this type of shantytown on land causes me less impression.
Excellent sharpness and light.
