As I already told, Zaoxing people have a skill in using wood and buildin without nails.
When I was travelling there I saw some houses under contruction, and I could appreciate how they work, how the make perfect joints.
I hope that they will keep this skill. In my country it is so difficult to find some artisan able to work like in ancient times when we need to restore a building

Ciao Livia,
Out of smiles for the day, but I really wanted to comment on the interesting mortise and tenion construction. There is an old barn on the property of my husband's grandfather that uses this construction with wooden pegs for nails.
