Photographer's Note

The Bund with its walkway, pier and restaurants is a pleasant and well known landmark in Shanghai. Across the Huangpu River, in early evening light, is Pudong which was a marshland that was drained before some of the highest structures of their kind were erected. The beautiful "Pearl of the Orient" on the left is a television tower with the "Space Module", the highest viewpoint at 350 m above ground, giving fantastic views of the city.
