Avant de quitter Pékin, j'avais le temps de visiter un des principaux temples boudhistes tibétains, situé en dehors du Tibet : le temple des Lamas.

L'endroit était beau, assez impressionnant. Mais c'était aussi envahi de touristes (comme tous les endroits que j'allais visiter durant le voyage). L'ambiance s'en ressentait et j'en étais un peu déçu.

Jusqu'à ce que je trouve ce Buddha. Un Buddha étrange, avec cette brume d'or, cette pose martiale, ces couleurs... Je n'en avais jamais vu comme cela avant. Il avait une allure de personnage de mangas.

Un Buddha manga !?

j'apprécie beaucoup le cadrage décentré que tu as choisi pour nous présenter ce buddha ; les couleurs sont excellentes et j'aime beaucoup le graphisme donnée par les vagues autour de lui. Une très belle qualité de la photo également. Beau travail

That is a very unusual Buddha, and very sharp for being indoors in low light it seems. I like that the background is dark, really brings out the gold colors.

Congratulations for this shot. It's absolutely well sharpened, lightned and contrasted. It seems we are seeing the Buddha itself, and it's a great idea not center the Buddha vertically. The red background is too very nice. Thanks.

J'aime bien les tons de couleurs, et la clarté de l'image. Le format vertical aurait-il été plus avisé? J'ai l'impression en regardant l'image qu'on a coupé trop court.

Belle photo toutefois, j'aime bien.

What manga means?
About the Buda yes you are rigth I like his face, look brilliant, inetresting, mistic, ad I like the
mask of face he has in his stomach. I like the color in this pciture, the way you took and I would like to see more of him, maybe in other time you cna upload anothers shots.

You're right about the unusualness of this; it doesn't look like any Buddha I've seen. You have captured it in excellent detail, considering it is indoors. The gold contrasts beautifully with the black bg.

Stéphane, tu t'es bien débrouillé avec la lumière ce qui ne devait pas être évident. Le bouddha n'est pas assis comme souvent mais debout et habillé comme un guerrier. La photo dégage pourtant une grande sérénité.

bonsoir Stephane,
Elle est très belle couleur,netteté,lumière,mais pour moi il manque quelque chose.
je l'aurais cadré en portrait pour avoir la partie supérieur du boudha,le vide sur le droite n'apporte rien .
Si le regard du boudha avait été dirigé vers la droite alors la oui.

an unusual statue of Buddha, indeed. I like the lightning and the colour.
Even the red tone of the background is nice and gives enough room for the main subject.

The statue of Buddha is indeed fascninating & very different from the normal statues we see. Superbly sharp image despite the low light & the dark BG brings out the golden effect even more. Beautiful shot indeed, but why not in vertical format?

Bonjour Stephane, dans les pays d’Asie bouda est représenté sous un nombre incalculable de forme, pour la plus grande joie des touristes, et ton commentaire un peu amer me laisse à penser qu’il fallait faire la queue ou quelque chose dans ce goût la pour accédé à cette effigie, quoi qu’il en est tu as bien réussi les couleurs sonne juste et le trophée est parfait, bien amicalement

The close up of the buddha works pretty good, i guess you couldn't get a broader shot without adding tourist, the buddha does however look quite nice, and the red contrast colours enhances the gold from the statue.
