Photographer's Note
Kun Ting Study Hall is a traditional Chinese Study Hall that was built in 1870 at a walled village "Ping Shan" in Hong Kong. It provided facilities for both ancestral worship and education.
The study hall was built to prepare youngsters of the Tang clan for the Imperial Civil Service Examination to qualify as officials in the Qing Government.
The hall had been used until the early post Second World War Period.
